High resolution photos on modern smartphones/tablets

Please make sure that if you have a high end smartphone or tablet. You can change the format of your photos to “Small format” in the settings in the App.

Modern high end smartphone/tablets have very high resolution cameras, that make photos with a (very) large file size. We upload these photos to our backend and compress the photos there to a smaller format, so we can use them in your inspections reports.

The large file size of the photos, however, will result in large amount of data that has to be transferred over your wireless connection. Whether this is 4G or Wifi, your bandwidth may be limited by your provider or your company. Please note, this is independent of the signal strength of your connection. You can have a very good connection to your nearest access point/cellular base station, but in the background the bandwidth can be limited.
